Following on from Edinburgh Art Festival's 2022 co-commission with Edinburgh Printmakers, WERE YOU TO PICK A STAR TO MARRY? is a limited edition print created by artist Nadia Myre in Edinburgh Printmakers' studios. The print work relates directly to work which was installed on the Union Canal.
As an Algonquin member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation, Nadia Myre’s work brings to the fore the decolonial impulse inherent in the artist’s practice, imprinting and entangling materials with meaning.
