What could a museum dedicated to trans masculine histories become?
As part of Trans Masc Studies’ EAF25 commission, Memory is a Museum, artists Ellis Jackson Kroese and Erin Jackson Raynes co-created archive boxes for the fictional Museum of Trans Masculinity.
Handmade by Erin Jackson Raynes, the boxes are part of an ongoing project to support trans people to document their memories and experiences. The work is designed to be taken home — visitors become custodians; the museum expands; memory moves, lives, persists.
